ENSISHEIM, France

This meteorite fell in 1492 and is one of the oldest known falls from which there is recovered material. For hundreds of years, a large stone was kept chained in the local church, to prevent it from wandering off in the same manner in which it arrived! Metal is visible, but there's almost no visible evidence of chondrules. The high petrologic end-number 6, means it was highly metamorphosed inside of the parent body.
