Digiscape Communications, Davie, FL. Company changed name to Stonedom , Inc. to avoid
confusion with other companies named 'Digiscape.' Worked as an Internet Consultant
for various Internet Service and Content Providers. Designed and set up various TCP/IP
network systems including switched and routed Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and FDDI networks.
Configured hardware and software for network servers and workstations. Programmed using
PERL, C, and BASH. Managed Web Designers, Programmers and Technical Support Personnel.
INTERNET NETWORK ENGINEER /
MICROSYSTEMS SPECIALIST,Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Miami, FL.Created
the Royal Caribbean Web Sites "nuts and bolts." Designed the entire
hardware system and wrote the Capital Acquisition Request Forms for all of the hardware
and software pieces for the entire project. Installed all of the hardware and software.
Installed T-1, DSU/CSU and routers and worked directly with the ISP to set-up the

In charge of the LAN security using the SunSparc5 running Firewall-1 software
Two RS/6000 E-20s running all of the Internet apps. Ran cron jobs for reporting
purposes. Programmed in PERL, korn shell, C, and HTML to keep the Web Site new and running
properly. Installed "electronic post cards," a series of PERL scripts that I
heavily modified to fit the site and work error free. Installed global chat onto the
server and wrote the necessary attachments to make it work on the Internet.
AT&T UNIX Intel System with Conversant and Audix Voice Mail administration.
Required to keep in operation to work with internal database and file transfers from
AS/400 nightly through a cron job. Debugged and programmed custom scripts for database for
the Passenger Services Department. Worked with different ports on the machine.
AT&T G3 and G2, worked with T-1s, set up 800 numbers, VDNs,
DNISs, hunt
groups, etc.
Coordinated with back-up people to back up (and restore if necessary) all of the
systems including the UNIX systems on the network.
Ran two primary DNS servers on the LAN using Sun SparcStations running Solaris 2.x, one
internal and one external to the LAN on the opposite side of the firewall. Designed,
configured and maintained all of the IP addresses through DNS scripting.
